The NUONEA application
A smart mobile solution for personalized antenatal monitoring
The application is used to track, store and explore expectant mothers' health indicators. NUONEA is built upon the DHIS2 tracker to ensure compatibility with existing DHIS2 data surveillance programs. It can also be seen as a limited electronic medical record system replacing the handwritten ANC register at MCH clinics.

At the heart of the NUONEA project is a thorough review of the existing caretaking process. The application is always tailored to meet the local needs and resources. A digital platform also allows us to modify the paper-based registers for improved data literacy and user-friendliness without losing any relevant data.
Each health indicator within NUONEA is carefully considered with the local authorities, based on existing registries, while simultaneously providing opportunities for continuous improvement.
NUONEA and DHIS2 enable real time monitoring of the data collection for all relevant stakeholders. The included statistical view is fully customisable for each individual user ranging from a single health indicator to population level aggregated data. This leads to improved informed decision making and accountability.
